Let’s break that down. Here’s what the tax credit looks like for individual projects:

• Windows: Claim up to 30% of costs up to $600 if the product meets ENERGY STAR® efficiency certification requirements.
• Siding: Claim up to 30% of costs up to $600 if the product meets ENERGY STAR® efficiency certification requirements.
• Doors: Claim up to 30% on products that meet ENERGY STAR® efficiency certification requirements—$250 per door with a $500 annual limit.
